A while ago I was complaining about the lack of decent Java oriented blogs, so having just found a good one it behooves me to draw attention to it. I found Chett Haase's Blog when one of those occasionally relevant Amazon recommendations (people who are interested in "The Nikon D40 Handbook" were also interested in "Paleontology and Corpse Hiding for Beginners") pointed me at the book he wrote with Romain Guy. Romain also has a blog but that hasn't been updated since 2006.
The book is, with a fair amount of genius, called Filthy Rich Clients1. I have no idea if it's a good book, but I love the title. Looking for a bit more about this I found Chett's blog and thoroughly enjoyed his inspired and enjoyable discussion of software development methodologies.
1 I've left the affiliate tag intact there, so if you click the link to buy it Chett gets the benefit, not me.
